Located halfway between Boulder and Rocky Mountain National Park, this tiny town (population 2,200) has a handful of good lodging options. Lyons’ quaint downtown is filled with great shops and restaurants, and there are several beautiful parks along St. Vrain Creek, which flows through the center of town. From downtown Lyons to Estes Park it’s about a 30-minute drive.
